Intercity Berlin tickets
No trip is the same. We are very aware of this and therefore offer a fitting rate for every travel situation depending on the amount of flexibility you want. For flexibility you can choose the Sparpreis Europa and Flexpreis.
It is not mandatory to reserve a seat with Intercity Berlin. We do, however, advise you to do so. You will receive a confirmation of your seat reservation stating the carriage number and seat number. Seat reservation 1st class When booking a first class ticket, the seat reservation costs are included in the price of your ticket. The seat reservation is not done automatically. After booking you will have to reserve a seat.

Free access to the lounges
A first class ticket gives access to the NS International Lounges. The lounges at the station have comfortable work areas. You also have access to wireless Internet, modern meeting rooms (for a fee) and there is a self-service bar with free drinks.
On board Intercity Berlin
Locating your carriage
When travelling with a long-distance train, you will find large displays on the platforms which indicate with A to E where the individual carriages are located. The platforms are also divided from A to E.
Leaflets are distributed on board the Intercity Berlin: 'Ihr Reiseplan'. In these leaflets, you can read which stops Intercity Berlin will make, departure and arrival times for each station, but also information about connecting trains and the services offered on board. In addition, it is important to listen to the broadcast messages. Just before arriving at the next station, they will announce which connecting trains are available.

Bringing bicycles on board
It is permitted to bring a bicycle on board an Intercity Berlin train. You will need an international bicycle ticket that cost € 12.00 for a one-way trip. Making a reservation for your bicycle is mandatory. This costs € 4 per one-way trip. Read more about bringing a bicycle on board.
Bringing pets on board

On board you can get a bite to eat and a drink at the Bistro Café. In a few Intercity trains catering is served at your seat in 1st class.
There are two electrical outlets at places near the window in 1st class and in 2nd class in each carriage at the table places. At these places you can use or charge your laptop or mobile phone.
